Backstory and Lore tm

Vesper grew up in the UK, attending private schools (of course he did). His mother is British, and his father is Belgian and the ambassador to the UK. When he graduated, his parents offered him two choices - go to an Ivy League or Russell Group university with full funding from them, or choose any university around the world with less financial freedom. Vesper didn't care so much, since his education til then and connections would ensure he gets a lucrative job should he choose to return to the UK, and chose a tiny university in the US with an extremely specialised major he liked. There, he met Mal, and after some initial fumbling got along with him. Post-university, they live together in a small apartment, since Mal wanted to evenly split rent and they couldn't afford somewhere nicer. Vesper still pays extra, though, simply because he can. Vex, Mal's childhood friend, visits them often enough he essentially lives there.

Appearance and Outfits!

Long, slightly wavy blond hair. Grey-green eyes that change colour in the sunlight. Pale.
Tall! Androgynous, leaning towards feminine.
Wears office casual and semiformal all the time. Tasteful, understated style - think simple sweaters, beige chinos, dress shoes, trenchcoat, and a couple of accessories to cinch the look.
Sometimes has his hair in a bun, but prefers to keep it loose.
Doesn't deliberately try to pass as male - wears skirts and dresses, too.

Opinions

Vex Suzuki:

Likes him a lot, but worries sometimes if he's acting too romantic and making Vex uncomfortable. Used to get along better with Mal, but grows to enjoy Vex's company as they spend more time together. Thinks Vex's recklessness and spontaniety are both alarming and something to envy. They bond over telling Mal off for not folding the laundry.

Mal Lin:

Met Mal at university, when he was taking an art major and Vesper a literature one. Often gives Mal well-meaning but unsolicited advice. Thinks he can be immature and lazy, but respects how loyal Mal can be and how much he loves his job as a tattoo artist.

Tire Iron:

Used to dislike having a pet on principle (cat hair everywhere, cleaning up after it, the smell...) but thinks he's the cutest cat ever. Gets Tire Iron the best vets and food he can buy.
